COP14 Regional Preparatory Workshop for Oceania

To ensure effective preparation for CMS COP14 and to give National Focal Points from Oceania an opportunity to strategize and develop common positions on issues of priority interest to the region, Regional Preparatory Meetings (Pre-COP) for Oceania will be held on 17 October from 1.00 to 5.00 CEST and 18 – 19 October, from 1.00 to 4.00 CEST.

The Pre-COP will focus on effective COP14 preparation, presenting and discussing documents that are key to the region. Additional sessions addressing COP functioning and logistic aspects and roles and responsibilities of NFPs will also be provided.   

At the end of each day, additional time is offered to the regions to provide an opportunity for a closed discussion, without the presence of the Secretariat. 

The meeting will be held online via ZOOM and conducted in English.
