2022/019: Revised Format for CMS COP14 National Reports

Pursuant to Resolution 12.5, Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) are to submit their national reports six months prior to the meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP14). CMS COP14 is being planned for sometime during the last two weeks of October 2023, and thus national reports will likely need to be submitted in the second half of April 2023.

The online questionnaire for the national reports is currently being finalized in the CMS Online Reporting System (ORS) and will be communicated for access and use as soon as it is available in the second half of the month of November 2022.

In the meantime, the Secretariat would like to remind Parties that the revised Format for CMS National Reports, as adopted by the 52nd meeting of the CMS Standing Committee pursuant to Decision 13.14, is available on the CMS Website in Word format in EnglishFrench and Spanish. Parties may wish to review the revised Format to start preparing information for their reports.

For further information on the National Reports and accessing the user guide for the online questionnaire please visit the dedicated webpage on the CMS website or contact the Secretariat at [email protected].

As in the previous reporting cycles, the online questionnaire will be accessible through the following link: https://ors.cms.int/
