COP12 Regional Preparatory Workshop for Africa
To ensure effective preparation for the 12th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CMS (COP12) and to give participants from the African Region the possibility to develop common positions on some of the issues which will be of priority interest to them, the CMS Secretariat, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority, is holding a COP12 Regional Preparatory Workshop from 9-11 August 2017, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This event will cover several aspects of building the capacity of National Focal Points (NFPs). First and foremost, the focus lies on effective COP preparation and regional consultation. Beyond this, opportunities to strengthen the capacity in CMS implementation beyond COP12 will be discussed.
To ensure that you are well prepared for the workshop, kindly check the COP12 documents below that are relevant to the workshop agenda.
