2011/001: New Signatories to the Sharks MOU

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks is pleased to inform you that:


The following additional countries signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks at the CMS COP10 in Bergen, Norway:

The MOU has been in effect since 1 March 2010. For the new Signatories listed above the MOU entered into effect on 1 December 2011.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 24, as of 1 December 2011.
