2015/018: New Parties to the Convention - Afghanistan and Brazil

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (UNEP/CMS) is pleased to inform you that the German Federal Foreign Ministry has confirmed receipt of the accession documents of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and of the Federative Republic of Brazil. 

Afghanistan will become the 121st Party to the Convention on 1 August 2015 and Brazil the 122nd on 1 October 2015.
