Special attention will be paid to regional collaboration among Central Asian countries, who initiated the historic United Nations General Assembly Resolution 75/271 entitled "Nature knows no borders: transboundary cooperation – a key factor for biodiversity conservation, restoration and sustainable use" which was adopted on 16 April 2021.
Sessions 1 and 2 will feature special dialogues among Ministers, Executives of International Organizations, and other high-level representatives with a focus on strengthening transboundary cooperation for the conservation of migratory species in Central Asia. Session 3 will invite ministers and other high-level officials to share their experience related to international or transboundary cooperation on migratory species conservation in the form of statements.
