Join us at CMS COP15 for a dedicated side event on angel shark conservation, hosted by the CMS Secretariat and the Working Group for the Single Species Action Plan for the Angelshark in the Mediterranean (SSAP Angelshark Med). The event is generously funded by the Principality of Monaco and WWF Mediterranean.

The programme will feature brief updates on the implementation of the Angelshark Single Species Action Plan (SSAP), dynamic speed talks, and guest speakers, including representatives from the IUCN Shark Specialist Group and the Principality of Monaco, highlighting key initiatives such as Important Shark and Ray Areas and other priorities for angel shark conservation.

An evening reception with food and drinks, offering an informal setting for CMS Focal Points, Working Group members, partners, and shark friends, to network, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration for the conservation of Angelsharks in the Mediterranean and beyond.
