In the scope of the proposed Concerted Action on Manta and Devil Rays, the Manta Trust invites you to take a moment to hear about the current status of the gentle and iconic oceanic giants and why science-based collaborative action is urgent and crucial to secure their future. 

 

We will focus on the latest science regarding ecology, threats, population trends, status of global fisheries and trade, and knowledge gaps. We will present on the new Field Guide for the Manta and Devil Rays of the World - a tool for researchers, decision-makers and enforcement personnel. We will frame the proposed Concerted Action in the light of its urgency and feasibility, as well as the Manta Trust's view on impactful conservation priorities.
