2013/025: Invitation to comment on Draft International Action Plan for the Conservation of the Argali Sheep (Ovis ammon)

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) is pleased to announce that the first draft of the International Action Plan for the Conservation of the Argali Sheep is opened for comments.

The Draft, in English and Russian, is accompanied by a background document outlining the conservation status of argali, population trends and main threats, as well as the existing legislation for the conservation of the argali.

The Secretariat will be pleased to receive feedback and comments from the Parties, Range States and Experts to improve and finalize the Action Plan for the Conservation of the Argali Sheep.
