2013/031: New Signatory to the Migratory Sharks MOU

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks is pleased to inform you that:

The Republic of Colombia signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks in Bogotá on 4 October 2013.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 27, as of 1 November, 2013. The MOU has been in effect since 1 March 2010.
