2026/002: Call for Financial Support for CMS COP15

The Secretariat is seeking funding to support the attendance of CMS COP15 by countries eligible for financial support, consistent with paragraph 10 of Resolution 14.2. 

Despite the generous contributions received from a number of Parties, an estimated $145,000 is still required to ensure that all eligible CMS Parties will be able to attend. 

The Secretariat therefore invites Parties and partners to explore opportunities to allocate resources to support attendance of COP15 by eligible CMS Parties. Funding to support participation of eligible non-Party governments at COP15 would also be welcomed, to help achieve the objective of increased membership in CMS.
