2016/028: Funding Opportunities for Biodiversity in Asia

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) is pleased to bring to your attention the call for proposals issued by the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) under the second phase of the Biodiversity Information Fund for Asia programme.

The two grants included in the call aim to address key challenges identified by GBIF in Asia relating to the mobilization and use of biodiversity data in the region.

The Secretariat encourages all stakeholders to the Convention to apply for these grants with proposals that contribute to the implementation of any plans, actions or initiatives developed under CMS and its instruments.
