2014/032: COP11 Transport/Pick-up Services

The Secretariat is pleased to inform delegates to COP11 that a shuttle service has been arranged between the airport and the city centre of Quito; on 1, 2 and 3 November, special buses will depart at 90 minute intervals round the clock for delegates arriving at the airport. For delegates preferring to take a taxi, the fare is around US$25-30.

Furthermore, the Secretariat wishes to inform delegates to COP11 that buses will operate between the city centre and the conference centre on the days of the meetings. A map showing the three pick-up "hubs" for transportation to the conference venue and a timetable have been made available on COP11 logistics page under “Hotel Information”.
