The Secretariat shall, subject to the availability of resources: a) when undertaking outreach to stakeholders, where appropriate and feasible, include organizations or networks of relevant indigenous and local knowledge holders, as appropriate, of relevance to the United Nations, recognizing that exploration of different communication techniques may be required to effectively reach target audiences, in accordance with national circumstances and with due regard to free, prior and informed consent, and the protection of traditional knowledge; b) add a section on how relevant indigenous and local knowledge holders can contribute to CMS key topics on the CMS website, for example under the Community Participation and Livelihoods tab.
