The Secretariat shall, subject to the availability of resources: a) produce and disseminate a brochure and a promotional video (for different audiences) to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of the region for the conservation of migratory species and the role of CAMI and the Central Asian Flyway Initiative; b) conduct a workshop to build the capacity and increase the awareness of decision makers and local communities in applying the IUCN SSC Guidelines on Human-wildlife Conflict and Coexistence, and the recommendations of the CMS report, Potential for Community-based Wildlife Management in Central Asia, as well as the recommendations of the CMS Scientific Council Working Group on Pastoralism and CMS-listed species; c) in cooperation with the CMS Energy Task Force, conduct a workshop to build the capacity of relevant decision makers and stakeholders and to develop guidance with a view to reducing the impacts of linear infrastructure on CAMI species and CMS-listed avian species; d) conduct workshops to strengthen transboundary cooperation in specific PTCRs; e) support the efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study on re-introduction of the cheetah using cheetahs and prey base from appropriate sources that assesses, inter alia, the restoration of the prey base, habitat suitability and extension of available space for cheetahs, by providing capacity-building and support to fundraising efforts; f) organize a mid-term meeting in 2028 or 2029 to assess the implementation of the CAMI Work Programme 2026-2032, identify successes and address challenges; g) report to the Conference of Parties at its 16th meeting on the progress in implementing this Decision.
