The GEF is invited to consider Decisions 15.2 and 15.3 of the CMS Conference of the Parties and support their implementation, including by engaging in a dialogue with the CMS Secretariat regarding options for strengthening support for CMS implementation.
Decision directed to: Standing Committee
The Standing Committee is requested to explore options for strengthening support of the GEF for implementation of CMS.
Decision directed to: Secretariat
The Secretariat shall:
a) convey Decision 15.1 to the Chief Executive Officer (and Chair) of the GEF;
b) subject to the availability of resources, support the work of the Standing Committee to explore options for strengthening support of the GEF for implementation of CMS.
