Decision directed to: Scientific Council
The Scientific Council is requested to:
a) review the standard reference for terrestrial mammals as established by Resolution 12.27 (Rev.COP15) and make any recommendations for its update to COP16;
b) review the standard reference for birds as established by Resolution 12.27 (Rev. COP15) once the Avilist is completed as a unified checklist of the birds of the world, and make any recommendations for its adoption as the standard reference.
