Further to Notification 2015/022, the CMS Secretariat, in its capacity as Interim Secretariat of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks (Sharks MOU), is pleased to announce that the Second Meeting of Signatories (MOS2) to the Sharks MOU will take place at the Park Inn hotel in San José, Costa Rica. 15 - 19 February 2016.

Two additional meetings will be held at the same venue in the margins of this Meeting of Signatories:

• 12-13 February: The first meeting of the Advisory Committee to the MOU.
• 14 February: An informal, open-ended meeting of the Intersessional Working Group of the MOU, to advance discussions on the draft Rules of Procedure (open to all MOU Signatories).

Please also note that the training workshop on the conservation of sharks and rays, planned for 20 February, will not be held.
