2023/025: Submission of National Reports

Pursuant to Resolution 12.5, Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) are to submit their national reports six months prior to the meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP14). As per Notification 2023/004, the deadline for submission of national reports was 26 April 2023, six month prior to CMS COP14. To date, the CMS Secretariat has only received 55 national reports. As CMS COP14 has been rescheduled to 12-17 February 2024, the CMS Secretariat strongly encourages Parties who have not yet done so to submit their national reports as soon as possible, and by 14 November 2023 at the latest, in order for them to be made available online.

Customized online templates are available for all Parties in the CMS Online Reporting System (ORS). Login details and a link to the ORS have been emailed to all national report respondents (normally the CMS National Focal Points). If the email message has not been received, respondents are advised to first check their SPAM folder and, if it cannot be found, alert the Secretariat promptly for assistance at [email protected].

As in the previous reporting cycles, the online questionnaire is accessible through the following link: https://ors.cms.int/.

If needed, Parties with existing accounts in the ORS from previous reporting cycles can reset their password using the following link: https://ors.cms.int/password_resets/new.

To find or change the associated email address to the Party account in the ORS, or to create a new account for the first national report, please contact Aydin Bahramlouian, Public Information Officer, CMS Secretariat ([email protected]).
