The Energy Task Force has held yearly meetings since 2016. At its Fifth Meeting in 2020, the ETF adopted a new Work Plan 2021-2024, and information was exchanged and opportunities for cooperation discussed during two interim virtual meetings on 28 April and 07 December 2021. These meetings and several webinars and side events have also highlighted several flagship experiences, projects and outputs of ETF members and observers, and affirmed member/observer commitments made to promote ETF activities.
The ETF6 meeting offers the opportunity to review the recent performance and developments of the ETF, and plan concretely the implementation of activities identified in the ETF Work Plan. ETF6 is therefore expected to set priorities and engage members and observers in the implementation of specific items of the Work Plan, provide updates from the ETF network, discuss new research and materials to be produced, and identify additional ETF flagship projects and opportunities for promoting ETF activities.
The meeting is also expected to take stock of the ETF funding situation as well as of any developments in terms of fundraising.
