La Sexta Reunión del Comité del período de sesiones del Consejo Científico (ScC-SC6) se celebrará del 18 al 21 de julio de 2023 en los locales de la Secretaría PNUMA/CMS, Platz der Vereinten Nationen 1, 53113 Bonn, Alemania. Siendo la ScC-SC6 la última reunión del Consejo Científico antes de la Decimocuarta Reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes de la CMS (COP14), su principal objetivo será proporcionar asesoramiento sobre asuntos científicos y técnicos a la COP.

La reunión está abierta a todos los miembros del Comité del Período de Sesiones, a otros miembros del Consejo Científico de la CMS que no sean miembros del Comité del Período de Sesiones, así como a representantes de las Partes en la CMS, de los Acuerdos de la CMS y de las organizaciones e instituciones asociadas a la CMS.
