Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia (Raptors MOU) is pleased to inform you that:

Somalia and Niger signed the UNEP/CMS Raptors MOU on 9th and 10th December 2012, respectively, during the 1st Meeting of Signatories to the Raptors MOU, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 42. The Raptors MOU has been in effect since 1 November 2008.
