The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation and Management of Dugongs and their Habitats throughout their Range (Dugong MOU) is pleased to inform you that:

Saudi Arabia signed the UNEP/CMS Dugong MOU on 3 March 2013 at the signing ceremony held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 26. The Dugong MOU has been in effect since 31 October 2007.
