Sri Lanka and Samoa propose to protect the Blue Shark at global migratory species conference

Sri Lanka and Samoa plan to jointly propose to place Blue Sharks on a special global list asking countries to conserve them and protect their habitat as approximately 20 million of the species are killed each year, Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) said in a media release.
