The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) is pleased to announce that Brazil will host the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties by March 2026.

The decision was taken by the Standing Committee after careful consideration of the offers received by the Secretariat to host COP15. Further information on the venue and dates will follow as soon as it becomes available.

As soon as the dates are set, the Secretariat will circulate the timeline for national report and document submission and further guidance on drafting Resolutions, Decisions, and proposals for the amendment of the Appendices and concerted actions.
