2018/013: Outcomes of the 1st Meeting of Range States for the Joint CMS-CITES African Carnivores Initiative

The CMS Secretariat would like to inform all Parties that the outcomes of the 1st Meeting of Range States for the Joint CMS-CITES African Carnivores Initiative have been finalized.

Thirty-One Range States participated in the meeting, represented by either CMS or CITES national contacts. The following Parties were represented at the meeting: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe

All outcomes were agreed upon by the Meeting and have been made available online. In addition, all presentations made during the meeting, have also been made available online for your perusal:
