The Range State Meeting on the Single Species Action Plan for the Angelshark in the Mediterranean Sea will take place online on 5 – 6 July 2022 and will be split into two 3-hour sessions:

• Tuesday 5 July 2022 from 10:00 to 13:30 CEST  [09:00 - 12:30 BST]
• Wednesday 6 July 2022 from 10:00 to 13:30 CEST  [09:00 -12:30 BST]

The outcome of the meeting will be to finalise two documents (Single Species Action Plan and Governance Structure) to be submitted for formal adoption at the 14th Conference of the Parties.

The documents were prepared by the Secretariat in cooperation with the Advisory Committee of the Memorandum of Understating on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks (Sharks MOU), as agreed in the Concerted Action for Angelshark Squatina squatina (Concerted Action 12.5 (Rev.COP13)) and in the Programme of Work 2019-2021 of the Sharks MOU.

All CMS Parties, Sharks MOU Signatories (specifically Mediterranean Sea Range States), and experts are invited to participate in the meeting. Non-Party Range States are also welcome.
