The Second Edition of the Central Asian Mammals Migration and Linear Infrastructure (CAMI) Atlas builds on the CAMI Atlas published in 2019, incorporating new data, refined analyses, and updated species ranges based on the latest satellite tracking information. This online Atlas presents the data from the Second Edition in an interactive format, offering users a dynamic way to explore the impacts of linear infrastructure—including roads, railways, pipelines, fences, and canals—on large, wide-ranging mammals across Central Asia.

Focusing on nine species included in CAMI, as well as the Chinkara, the Atlas covers eight countries where these species depend on open, connected landscapes for their survival. As infrastructure expands, it increasingly fragments habitats, obstructs migration routes, and restricts access to essential resources like forage and water. The Atlas features detailed, species-specific maps that highlight existing and potential conflict areas, providing a vital tool for integrating wildlife conservation into infrastructure planning and development.
