Bonn, 19 June 2012 - After almost five years of service as Administrative and Fund Management Officer at the CMS Secretariat, Sergey Kurdjukov is retiring from UN Service. He joined CMS in October 2008 from UNEP Geneva, where he was Chief of the UNEP Administrative Service Centre 2005-2006. From there he moved to Moscow, Russia, to deal with GEF projects. Sergey Kurdjukov started in UNEP as Fund Management Officer in December 1986 and was appointed Deputy Chief, Budget and Financial Management Service (BFMS) of UNON in November 1999. In 2002-2004 he worked as Officer-in-Charge, BFMS. His colleagues at the CMS Secretariat in Bonn wish him a long and happy retirement.
