27 February 2009, Bonn --Olivier Biber (Switzerland), chairman of the Inter-sessional Working Group on the Future Shape of CMS, paid a visit to CMS HQ in the UN Campus in Bonn to meet the Secretariat’s support team. The purpose of the meeting was to set out an outline of actions to start the ball rolling in the process of evaluating the current structure of CMS and to draft proposals for the future direction of CMS to be considered at COP10. The Working Group will be liaising with the Scientific Council, which has established a Working Group of its own on flyways, taking into account the review of species agreements and formulating the revised version of the Strategic Plan covering the period 2012-17.
