The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals is pleased to inform you of the date and venue of the Stakeholder Meeting on the Conservation of Large Mammals in Central Asia: it will take place on 23-25 September 2014 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The meeting will develop a programme of work to be submitted for adoption at the 11^th Conference of the Parties to CMS (COP11) in November 2014.

The Secretariat is looking into the possibility to convene a COP11 Regional Preparatory and Negotiation Workshop for National Focal Points of central Asian Parties immediately afterwards (26-28 September 2014).
