TRACKS Puzzles Revealed: The Inflight Magazine for CMS COP12

Bonn, 22 December 2017 – As reported on this website on  9 October 2017 and as delegates to the CMS COP12 in Manila will know, the CMS Secretariat worked with “Territory”, a professional and experienced design team from Hamburg, to produce “TRACKS”, a special publication in the format of an airline inflight magazine.  An extended 102-page electronic version was also produced as published on the CMS website on 24 October.

“The positive feedback we have received from readers about “TRACKS” has been incredibly encouraging. It was a really exciting project which resulted in a type of product that the Secretariat has never tried to create before.  It was also a great experience for us to work with the team from Territory from whom we learned so much,” said Florian Keil, the Coordinator of the Joint Communications Team of the CMS and AEWA Secretariats.

Page 80 of the printed version and page 98 of the online edition contained two puzzles, an acrostic and a crossword, and some readers will no doubt be anxious to find out the answers!  The Secretariat is happy to relieve the suspense by providing the solutions below.  Congratulations to anyone who took the time and managed to solve the puzzles.

Acrostic:
