The Twelfth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP12) held from 23 to 28 October 2017 in Manila, the Philippines, endorsed the Secretariat’s Programme of Work for 2018-2020.

The linkages to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to the Targets of the Strategic Plan for Migratory Species 2015-2023 (SPMS) as well as appropriate references to Resolutions and Decisions have been added after the adoption of the Programme of Work by COP12.

The Secretariat invites Parties to explore any opportunity to allocate resources to support the implementation of those activities which require financial assistance.
