Parties are informed of deadlines for the submission of documents to the 12th Session of the CMS Conference of the Parties (COP12). The COP will take place in Manila from 22 to 28 October, 2017 at the kind invitation of the Government of the Philippines.

The attached table provides the timeline for document submission, including deadlines for National Reports, proposals for the amendment of the Convention and its Appendices, and proposed Resolutions and Decisions. It also outlines the proposed flow of documents through the Scientific Council and the Standing Committee and indicates when documents will be made available to Parties.

Deadlines are established in the Convention text, as well as in the draft Rules of Procedure, partially adopted1 at COP11.

Parties are requested to submit all such documents to the Secretariat at [email protected], by the stated deadlines.
