CMS COP11 in Quito, Ecuador is approaching fast and in order to promote the dialogue among the delegations of the different regions, we hereby announce that on the morning of 3 November from 9am till noon regional consultation meetings will be held. The CMS Secretariat will gladly provide rooms for the regional meeting of official delegations from Africa, Europe, Latin America & the Caribbean, Asia and Oceania, as well as any support required by the delegates.

In the same manner between 8.30 and 9.30am throughout the COP11, meeting delegations from every region will find a meeting room to facilitate discussion on the content of documents and possible common positions.

For the convenience of all delegations, the information and allocation of meeting rooms will be announced in good time.

Kindly also note that your collaboration will be required to make up the Credentials Committee during the COP.

Finally we would like to inform you that Ms. Monika Thiele and Mr. Johannes Stahl of the Secretariat will be the contact points to coordinate the logistics for the rooms and everything you may need for the regional consultation meetings.
