The 13th meeting of the Council will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 16-18 November 2005, at the kind invitation of the Executive Director of UNEP. The meeting will immediately precede the 8th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties, and its main purpose is therefore to provide advice to the COP on scientific and technical matters. Other objectives of the meeting include the elaboration of a ScC Implementation Plan of the CMS Strategic Plan 2006-2011.
