TRANSFER AIRPORT - HOTEL - VENUE

Subject: Notification to the delegates concerning the transfer to the hotels contracted by the Secretariat from the airport to the venue of the Conference and associated meetings.

A-TRANSFER AIRPORT - HOTEL:
You have three options:

1. "White Taxi"
You take the "White Taxi" at the airport for the transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. The cost for transfer may vary between estimated 40 - 70 Euro depending on the time and the distance to the selected hotel. It is of course advisable to reconfirm this estimated current costs, before you make a binding agreement to be transported, as this can change over time.

2. Public transportation train + metro/taxi
a. for Hotel Aventino and Hotel Villa San Pio : You take the train from the airport Rome - Fiumincino to the main train station "Roma Termini". Here you either take a (i) taxi to the hotel or you take the (ii) metro to the metro station "Circo Massimo" and then walk to the hotel.
b. for Hotel Santa Prisca: You take the (i) train from the airport Rome - Fiumincino to the train station "Ostiense". Here you take a (ii) taxi to the hotel Santa Prisca or (iii) walk to the hotel (300 Meter).
c. for Hotel Mercure Roma Delta Colosseo: You take the train from the airport Rome - Fiumincino to the main train station "Roma Termini". Here you either take a (i) taxi to the hotel or you take the (ii) metro to the metro station " Colosseo" and then walk to the hotel.

3. Pick-up trough a hotel taxi
Ask the hotel to pick you up from the airport by sending them an e-mail providing them with your name / arrival date/ arrival time / flight number. Please ask the hotel to confirm your request as well as the cost of the transfer in order to be on the safe side.

Transfer single occupancy is estimated 50 Euros ( between 8 am and 8 pm) and estimated 65 Euros for other time frames.

B - TRANSFER HOTEL - VENUE:

The four hotels (Santa Prisca, Avention and Villa San Pio and Mercure Roma Delta Colosseo) are all close to the venue at the FAO compound. There will be no additional transfer provided between the hotel and the venue.
