In accordance with the provisions of Article XI of the
Convention, the Governments of Australia, Chile, Ghana,
Mongolia, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Senegal and Uzbekistan
have submitted proposals for amendments to Appendices I
and II of the Convention for consideration by the seventh
meeting of the Conference of the Parties. They are initially
made available for downloading in the original language
in which they were submitted, and without editing. Translated
proposals will be progressively posted, as soon as they
will become available.
In accordance with Article XI, paragraph 3, of the Convention,
Parties are requested to communicate any comments on the
proposals to the Secretariat by 20 July 2002. Thereafter,
the Secretariat will communicate to the Parties all comments
submitted by that day.
