In accordance with the provisions of Article
XI of the Convention, the Governments of Bolivia, the Cook
Islands, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Tajikistan
and the European Union on behalf of its member states
have submitted proposals for amendments to Appendices
I and II of the Convention for consideration by the tenth
meeting of the Conference of the Parties. They are initially
made available for downloading in the original language
in which they were submitted. Translated proposals will
be progressively posted, as soon as they become available.
In accordance with Article XI, paragraph
3, of the Convention, Parties are requested to communicate
any comments on the proposals to the Secretariat by 21
September 2011. Thereafter, the Secretariat will communicate
to the Parties all comments submitted by that day.
